Our goal: Keep the shipping costs low for everybody. We are able to do this through our volume records with Fed Ex.
Our producers? Many of them are rabbit breeders that I have known for some time through various rabbit groups online. I met them through these groups and shared the opportunity of having an outlet for their home grown farm raised rabbits. Others are farmers who are raising animals for their family homesteads and are looking for outlets for their excess. We are not mass producers. This is why our inventories are often limited in certain areas. We sell you the same meat we put on our tables for our families.
Our quality? Each of our producers agree to raise their rabbits in the same standards that I (Carla) do, that is wire cages off of the ground, ample space for the rabbits, feeding a quality pellet that is to the standards again that I believe is the best nutrition for them to be healthy and happy for our rabbits. They also agree to humanely dispatch in the same manner of cervical dislocation. Most of them have a Rabbit Wringer as well. We agree that in all of our animals to raise them as humanely and healthy as possible and to respect their sacrifice of their life for our sustenance is an important factor for us.
Our customers! Should any of my customers have ANY problems, I want to know. I trust that my customers have a good enough relationship with me (Carla) that they will let me know if anything is amiss in the process. AND MY PRODUCERS KNOW THIS! lol So all is well in our world. They want to please you and so do I. These are good people. They raise these animals for meat for their own table and are typically looking for an outlet for their excess. They are all excited to be able to serve you and your animals as well in the process. It's a win-win situation.
Right now I have producers in: Missouri , Tennessee , Texas, Wisconsin.
I will continue to work to add new producers, but it's not easy to be as picky as I am because I will ONLY take those people that I trust to meet YOUR needs. If they don't meet my standards, they are not added to the program (or are quickly removed). Keep an eye out for new people being added. If you know of someone who might be interested let me know!
I want your feedback as well. My producers KNOW that it's important to their continuing partnership that I get positive feedback from you my customers as to the satisfaction level of my customers so let me know!
We are constantly adding products to our line as well. Our producers raise other livestock including chickens, turkeys, quail, sheep, goats, cattle, muscovy duck, and of course lots and lots of rabbits! Some also keep bees for honey and beeswax. They make soap with beeswax. Some make goat soap. We will be offering these products to you in 2015 all as farm fresh products.
